Integrated course "Global Education of the XXI century": Project for 2023 - 2030

Topic: The international portal Edupro.Expert and the latest center of educational technologies "Step" are a unique development - a combination of new technologies and quality innovative education in a single mega-project "Global Education XXI Century". (Translated from Ukrainian)

Relevance: Today, traditional universities are experiencing a crisis as such - they do not have time to keep up with the times, and can not effectively meet the needs of the younger generation in practical and "productive" education in the face of today's challenges. For example, studying at the University of Oxford and Cambridge is more of a "status" and an opportunity to later "brag" about being a graduate of Oxford or Cambridge. At the same time, many young people are "educated" online from non-professional sources. And this can lead to the education of a whole generation of "confident amateurs." What do we offer?

"Productive courses" and Visualization. You will probably agree that we live in a time when education should be "concise" and more practice-oriented than ever before. So short-term courses are better for business people (who value their time) than similar university studies. In addition, instead of cumbersome explanations and homework of associate professors, more experience from the best practicing tutors is valued, as well as the use of visual aids.

It is known that about 90% of information we perceive is due to the visual organs. Visualization stimulates the same parts of the brain as when performing the same activity in practice. For example, showing just one vivid scene from history can help students memorize and recall many abstract details.

Have you ever heard of such a phenomenon as "virtual tourism"? It is based on a "Virtual Tour" or a computer simulation of the existing location of attractions or historical monuments. It usually consists of a sequence of video clips or still images. Other multimedia elements, such as sound effects, music, story, and text, can be used. In addition, videos of the virtual tour can be documentaries and video clips, shot as the camera is constantly moving forward, for example, in the museum.

So our goal: with the latest software, virtual glasses and drones, as well as mobile applications - to create an educational environment that:

1) will be ATTRACTIVE to both young people and adults;

2) will not take much free time;

3) will help - easily assimilate the "LARGE ARRANGEMENT OF INFORMATION" and do it in the shortest possible time;

4) navigate freely in today's society.

We need your help to do this. In order to purchase all the necessary equipment, register the EDUPRO.EXPERT trademark in different countries, as well as hire highly qualified tutors who would be willing to cooperate with us - you need 40 - 60 thousand dollars. It is planned to raise funds within 2-3 months. (To financially support the project - click here)

We will also need volunteers. Just like the World Wikimedia Foundation (which is responsible for Wikipedia and many other projects), we will benefit from volunteers who are willing to devote their time to the project. If you want to contribute to EDUPRO.EXPERT - we will be happy to consider your application.

(Explanation: Edupro.Expert is primarily a project, like Wikipedia. However, it is also: a non-profit association, an innovative startup, and more. Unlike Wikipedia, which is written mostly by non-professional volunteers, Edupro .Expert calls for the cooperation of mostly competent specialists, so our project will be for a narrower circle of people.

In addition, Edupro.Expert is planned to be not only a non-profit association for the education of a wide range of people, but also an independent educational center that will provide paid services with the opportunity to obtain a certificate for a narrower audience)

This is only the first stage. As you probably understand, 60 thousand dollars is a rather small amount for a project of this kind. If all goes well, and the required amount is collected on time - then we will move on to the second stage. We want to create a unique centralized international educational platform, centered in Ukraine, which would be:

1) independent and separate from state education systems and policies (of any country);

2) would absorb only progressive educational programs of the best universities in the world;

3) would not duplicate fundamental disciplines, but would offer the latest subjects created at the junction of traditional industries.

This will require the development of a whole "education system" of a new format (not just an author's program or course); as well as publish a lot of literature: new manuals, programs and guidelines.

In the third stage, we would like to "start space exploration." Create a network of its own space mini-satellites for the formation of information infrastructure, educational social networks and innovative Internet ecosystem. In addition, we are interested in extracting minerals from asteroids and destroying waste outside the earth. However, this is a completely different budget. To do this, we will need hundreds of millions or even billions of dollars.

About the author. Hello. My name is Shaban Roman Petrovich.

I am a researcher in areas such as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the space industry and investment. Also in my area of interest is the legitimate development of international cyberspace on the Internet. (After graduating from the Faculty of History of Drohobych State University in 2013, I decided not to stop there, but to continue to develop my own educational program)

Everyone has long known that the future of business is the Internet. And since it is constantly changing and expanding exponentially, it needs to be controlled somehow! In a good sense of the word, of course. The challenge is to create an online ecosystem that helps small and medium-sized businesses work together properly. While maintaining healthy competition. The joint partnership should be based on certain cross-cutting content lines and cross-sectoral corporate links. Common goals should be united around socially useful ideas, and focused on continuous improvement and mutual integration.

It is clear that the infrastructure of "tomorrow" will be much more complex than today. And it's not just about business.

As for the Internet, as you probably know, in the near future a rather rapid adaptation of the "World Wide Web" to a specific person is planned. Creating a more personal Internet (which may no longer be called the Internet).

I'm not talking about some semi-fantastic ideas, many of which are now on social media. And about the usual foresight and those international educational centers that are engaged in research and forecasting the near future in terms of global mega trends, sociology, economics, etc.

So here it is. If you go back to the new "personal Internet", which is not far off, then .. It's certainly not bad. Especially in terms of the average consumer, antitrust committees; and the struggle against centralized mediacracy ... But here's the question. - WILL NOT ALL THE MEDIUM AND LARGE BUSINESS "DISSOLVE" THEN ?! For example, whether new trends will lead to the formation of many micro-businesses that will completely replace large corporations. And .. even if you are personally a humanist and ready to say goodbye to your business for the sake of people, another question arises. Will the "entrepreneurs of the future" really be able to provide services to people with dignity, and at the same time not "ruin the world economy", which has been built for years and has even acquired certain "internal traditions". Will this conglomerate be a sustainable entity, with a proper institution of partnership and a solid business culture.

Agree that today it is quite easy to hide on the Internet. One person can (if he wants) have thousands of FALSE accounts. It can be easily seized by law enforcement. And from responsibility to partners. And creating, focused on ordinary people, "micro-business of the future", in fact, may not be so worthy. After all, as history shows - it is difficult to please people.

No. I am not opposed to the changes that today's business is undergoing. I just emphasize that the approach should be expert, and - in all seriousness.

More about the project. The newest center of educational technologies Step is a project for those who want to gain not just theoretical knowledge from traditional educational fields - but to learn to adapt and do business in today's information society. Recent History (XX-XXI centuries), Media Literacy, Theory of Post-Industrial, Information and Post-Information Society, Social and Economic Geography of the World, Space Industry and much more - all this in our integrated course "Global Education in the XXI Century."

The purpose of education in general, in my opinion, is to develop the natural abilities of the student, and the formation of his competence as a whole.

However, competence is not just knowledge. This is a kind of "dynamic combination" of knowledge, practical skills and qualities - necessary for further "socialization" of the student. It should help the young person in the conscious choice of further life path and self-realization; in educating a responsible and sensitive attitude to others, as well as to the environment.

Pervasive in all key competencies in the study of History is the ability to think critically and systematically, which is manifested in the definition of relationships and the ability to analyze; take into account dissenting opinions and counter-arguments; recognize attempts to manipulate data.

What does it mean to think critically? First of all, I want to emphasize what it does not mean. Thinking critically does not mean thinking skeptically. No, we are not talking about a skeptic who always doubts everything. Or a "mocker" who scoffs at any reasonable argument.

No! Critical thinking is scientific thinking, the essence of which is to make carefully considered decisions and it is characterized by such a property as "awareness".

In addition, we mentioned the ability to "think systematically."

Key competencies include:

- environmental competence, which involves awareness of the environmental foundations of nature management and economical use of natural resources;

- information and communication competence, which involves the critical and responsible use of digital technologies for their own development and communication;

- civic and social competencies. In particular - showing respect for others, the ability to cooperate constructively and act in conflict situations. Ability to act in conditions of uncertainty and multitasking;

- entrepreneurship and financial literacy, which involves initiative; willingness to take responsibility for decisions made; ability to work in a team to plan and implement projects of public or financial value, etc.

The following skills are cross-cutting:

- to think systematically, which is manifested in the definition of relationships, the ability to analyze, take into account opposing views and counter-arguments, to recognize attempts to manipulate data;

- logically substantiate the position at a level that is a manifestation of their own attitude to events, phenomena and processes;

- act creatively, which involves creative thinking, production of new ideas, the fair use of other people's ideas and their refinement

- Becoming a student as an emotionally stable member of society, able to lead a healthy lifestyle and form a safe living environment around him.
